The Diocese of Enugu North had the touch of the Gospel in 1917 through
the missionary enterprise of Rev. Isaac Uzowulu Ejindu of the blessed memory.
It was from here churches were planted and supervised in Ilorin, Markurdi,
Kaduna, Minna, Funtua, Vom and Cameroun. From the onset this diocese
was setup on a missionary foundation to the nations. The establishment of this
diocese therefore is a renewal of covenant call like that of Abraham of old
and the subsequent generations after him.
